You can, and it will write one. Unless you already know what to ask, it fills the gaps with its own guesses, and the plan stays inside that one chat.
The catchPlanning is an art. Too much can be worse than too little, and a chat can’t tell the difference.

We gave two leading AI builders, OpenAI’s Codex and Anthropic’s Claude, two business ideas. Each built every idea twice: once from a one-sentence description, and once from a Make with Mike build kit. Then we checked every finished app against the decisions the owner made with Mike.

Same tools. The plan made the difference.
Without a kit, both AIs built good-looking apps. They just weren’t the owner’s apps. With a kit, both built the owner’s app, every time we tried.
And it only gets better from here. Every build teaches us which questions matter most, and that goes straight back into the questions Mike asks and the kits he writes.
How we tested: the two made-up businesses from the examples above, each built four times in October 2026. “The owner’s plan” means the 12 decisions each owner made with Mike. It’s a small test, and we’ll keep running it as Make with Mike grows.

Your Build Package carries the thinking with you. Take it to the AI builder you already use, or to a developer. You choose.
Your build kit is plain documents that connect to nothing else. Building inside Mike is planned for later, as an option.

Mike is its own plan, from $25 a month. The goal is that it saves you more than it costs, in fewer rebuilds and less wasted time.

Founder specialThe first 100 paying founders get 5% extra credits on every paid credit pack, for life.
Choose BYOK when you want to manage provider accounts, Managed when you want Mike to manage them, or Hold when you want to preserve your work during a break.
The 1,000 credits included with each paid Managed period are used before other credits. They expire at the next billing boundary and do not roll over.
BYOK and Managed members can buy one-time packs for MWM-managed services. Packs do not create another subscription.
Projects, work, existing credits, and founder benefits are preserved. Existing credits do not expire while the account is on Hold.
You approve a hard credit limit before research, Build, and other potentially expensive work begins.
Your balance and usage stay visible. Voice and other ongoing AI work update the running total as usage is recorded.
Unused paid credit value may be refundable under the final policy. Promotional or free credits have no cash value, and used credits are not cash-refundable.
